Have you been curious about the practice of yoga but not sure where to start? Are you managing injuries, rehabbing after surgery, or getting used to an aging body that can't quite do what it used to? This series is for you! Join yoga teacher Christie Scheele as she introduces students to the basic physical elements of a yoga practice: basic standing and sitting poses, some inversions and, breathing practices. While drop-ins are welcome, registration for all four sessions is recommended so that students build confidence and sequential knowledge that will allow them to jump into basic and open level classes.
